Five Key Components to Effective Network Management

Five Key Components to Effective Network Management

Responsive Services - Historically, network and pc service was provided “in response” to an equipment failure. This is still necessary in today’s environment as we provide “break/fix” services. Our help desk support represents an enhancement to responsive support, providing immediate assistance to end users.

Special Needs / Projects - All organizations require varying degrees of project work to implement necessary upgrades, expansions and enhancements to their network environment. Through effective project management combined with installation and configuration services, our team positions your organization for success.

Proactive Services- On a regular basis, our remote support team will apply the latest patches and updates to your system as they become available. These updates ensure that your system is running the latest versions of security updates designed to keep your network secure. Monitoring of key network elements identifies potential threshold violations to avoid costly downtime.

Client Communications & Reporting - One of the keys to successful network management is communication. Feedback is critical to keep clients informed of potential issues, status of work in process, and reporting of work completed. ANT does this through a series of communications and documents including monthly Executive Summaries, Open Issue Reports, Network Scorecards as well as review and technology planning meetings.

Technology Management- Through comprehensive documentation and reporting, combined with a series of planning meetings that incorporate organizational goals with technological needs and direction, we will develop a Technology Plan and Budget from which you can make effective decisions. We are dedicated to ensuring that our clients gain the greatest possible business value from their investment in technology.

Delivery Methods

Onsite Support- Our staff will come directly to your office to address problems that require on-site presence. Additionally, your local office may be visited on a regular basis by a member of our staff. The purpose of this visit will be to perform maintenance that cannot be addressed remotely as well as addressing any issues identified by your staff. These visits take place on a pre-scheduled basis in order to provide consistency of service.

Remote Support - Whenever possible, end user support is provided remotely either by a member of our Network Operations Center (NOC) or engineering staff. Our first objective is to minimize business interruptions in the quickest manner possible and to provide your staff with immediate results.
