A BRIEF HISTORY LESSON….
Our company began in Des Moines, IA as Devine Typewriter Service-Sales Company in March, 1976. We specialized in the repair of IBM electric typewriters, the “productivity machine” of the office. Through the years, we evolved to working with electronic typewriters, word processors, fax equipment, printers and computers and finally….to networks.
In Omaha, Overland Computer Services began operation in 1981 focusing on software development. In June of 1984, Overland began installing Novell-based networks. In 1988, we became the original Novell Authorized Education Center in Omaha, beginning a strong history of delivering technical training to the Omaha market. In 1990, Overland was purchased by HunTel Systems supporting clients throughout the Omaha market.
In 1997, Larry Pedersen purchased the computer division of HunTel Communications and merged it with the Des Moines operations. In the fall of that year, the names of both locations were changed to reflect the common ownership and Advanced Network Technologies was born!
Today, we have two divisions, IT Services and IT Training, both dedicated to excellence.
The IT Training division delivers technical training (Microsoft, Citrix, VMWare, Cisco, CompTIA) to IT professionals throughout the Midwest. Our training resources have helped developers, network administrators, architects and engineers move their technical knowledge to a higher level. Our instructors provide more than just classroom support - they provide our students with real-world knowledge to make the difference.
The IT Services dvision provides network support services to clients throughout Iowa and Nebraska with a team of deadicated professionals. We offer support services in the forms of Help Desk, Remote Services, OnSite Support and Strategic IT Planning.
